While researching what drives traffic to this blog about palladium, I found that an individual typed the following on Google as a search query - will palladium jewelry not be popular in 10 years? Excuse me for saying this, but I find this question to be kind of odd. Ten years from now, palladium might be a very popular choice for jewelry. Or it may be even scarcer then it is today, so the price might return to the premium level that it was many years back. But will palladium jewelry not be popular in 10 years? That’s an interesting question. Did music fans ever ask - will The Rolling Stones not be popular in 10 years? I like to think that like platinum or gold, palladium will still be a viable option for jewelry in the future. And I believe that around the time platinum started to be used more and more for jewelry, that there was a general outcry of “platinum for jewelry? That will never last! Consumers will never really go for that!” Opps!
